VIDEO - Bloodhound land speed record chaser Richard Noble visits Sleaford
The man behind the Bloodhound SSC project to break the 1,000mph barrier in a rocket car designed to be faster than a Typhoon jet fighter visited the workforce at SHD Composites on Sleaford Enterprise Park to pay tribute to their support.
The company co-owned by Steve and Helen Doughty has been on board for some time with the project to smash the land speed record next year in South Africa.

Hide AdMr Noble talked about progress so far as well as thanking them for their support before moving on to give a keynote speech for the Made In Sleaford exhibition which has been running yesterday and today at the National Centre for Craft and Design.
The exhibition showcases the town’s past triumphs in manufacturing as well as lifting the lid on just how much technology and innovation still exists in the area.
It continues until 3pm today.
