Six tries for Chad’
The All Blacks were in superb form, dominating all aspects of play against a strong Cleethorpes side.
The mobile, quick Gainsborough outfit ran them ragged and the superb Chadwick scored six tries, three in each half of the game.

But it was a full team effort that dispatched the opposition.
Three other tries were scored on the day and Parkinson converted two of them and kicked a penalty.
The All Blacks strategy was to move the ball quickly against their bigger and slower opponents and this soon led to gaps appearing, but the tries all had to be earned and the vistors’ sound defending meant that most of the touch downs were forced out onto the wings, reducing the chances of the kickers getting the extra two points.

Hide AdTom Bond scored in the first half running most of the length of the field for a fine try.
Dawson was again playing well before having a well earned break in the second half and Jeff Bates did well as he keeps up his return after a lengthy injury spell.
The second half was more of the same with Mark Waterland adding his name to the try scorers.
Padgett came on with 20 minutes of the game to play and his fresh legs waltzed through the oposition to touch down.

Hide AdThe All Blacks backs were in fine form, Elliot Humphrey supportive of his team mates in attack and sound in defence.
Waterland had a fine game on the wing, timing his runs really well and getting in excellent positions to support the side as well as sound covering work.
The Cleethorpes try was a last minute consolation for the visitors.
