Quartet return home with medal bonanza
Teams being made up of attendees on the day and for three juniors this was their first experience of competitive judo, each performing extremely well.

Bragging rights in this family, this time, however, were reserved for older brother Jake, who won all three of his contests, including beating his brother, to take the gold medal.
Senior competitor Dean Harmston produced an outstanding performance on the day, winning two of his three contests, all against experienced dan grades (black belts) including a spectacular win using a Harai-Goshi throw to score ippon. Dean also came away with the gold medal.
