Town fail to take chances
The visitors went home with all three points thanks to a 1-0 win, against a much-changed Dinnington side.

It took a while for their reshaped team to settle and in the early stages Dronfield dominated play in a scrappy game.
They had two chances to take the lead but failed to convert either of these.
Town gradually gained in confidence and in the last 15 minutes of the first half, they had four good chances to open the scoring but took none of them, misses they were soon to regret.
The second half was much the same as the first.

Hide AdMan of the Match Martin Wade was a constant problem for Dronfield’s defence with his strong running and was at the centre of most of Town’s attacking play.

Five minutes later Town paid for their missed chances when Dan Wood slotted the ball home with supporters appealing for handball.
Town’s best chance to score came on 78 minutes when sub Jermaine Colphon headed powerfully but straight at the keeper following another fine run and cross from Wade.
