Hide AdInitial reports suggesting Proctor - Peterborough United’s under 14 goalkeeper - had been sold were inaccurate as he remains at Posh.
When Posh are confirmed as an Academy 2 club, hopefully in time for next season, they will be entitled to charge a higher fee.
Proctor, who hails from Boston, has been at the Posh Academy since he was eight. He was originally an outfield player.
He will link up with the England squad at St George’s Park between December 19-21.

Hide AdPosh Academy director Kieran Scarff said: “Sam is a lovely lad, very grounded. I’m thrilled for him, his parents and the Academy. It’s a very proud moment for his family.
“England have watched Sam a number of times. The camp will be a great experience for him. He’s a fully focused young man with a great attitude a real commitment to what he’s doing. He works with the older goalkeepers.
“Getting international call-ups is great for the Academy. It gets us in the public eye.”
