FOOTBALL: Coningsby knocked out of Sports Cup on penalties
Coningsby hosted Leverton for a quarter-final of the Boston League Sharman Burgess Sports Cup on Saturday.
Played in almost ideal conditions, it turned out to be an evenly matched game that was entertaining and good natured throughout.
But the match remained scoreless until the 82nd minute when Coningsby’s Andrew Chapman took a chance on a 30-yard solo run to boot the ball home.
