Unpaid work for woman who pulled up plants
Following the release of CCTV by the council on Tuesday morning, the woman who was accused of pulling up the flowers spoke to the authority and police about the incident - which on social media she had said was ‘ashamed’ to have carried out while drunk.
A spokesman for the council said: “She was shown the CCTV footage, admitted the offence and has agreed to a session of restorative justice.

The vandalism is one of several incidents which have upset organisers of this years’ Boston In-Bloom competition as the flora has been planted by volunteers and donated by businesses.
