WATCH OUT - When to see International Space Station with Tim Peake aboard in East Midlands skies
UK astronaut Tim Peake rocketed up to the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday - and you should be able to see his whereabouts over East Midlands skies this afternoon.
Weather permitting, the International Space Station is due to fly over the UK, East to West, at 4:22pm and should be visible for at least one minute.
In skies above Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, it may be visible for up to four minutes, with a maximum height of around 55°.
Stargazers hoping to get pictures and video of the event can send them in to us at [email protected] for a chance to get them published.
