Three injured in car crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after the crash near Whiston, Rotherham which occurred around 12.20am this morning (Tuesday).
A blue Nissan Micra was travelling on Pleasley Road from Whiston towards Augton when, for an unknown reason, it crossed the central white line and collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa travelling in the opposite direction.

Hide AdThe collision happened a few hundred yards from the Whiston side of Reservoir Road.
The driver of the Micra, a 44-year-old man from Westfield, Sheffield, sustained a broken leg, broken back and a severe head injury. His condition this morning is described as life threatening.
The passenger in the Corsa, a 24-year-old Rotherham man, sustained abdominal injuries that are also described as life threatening.
The Corsa driver, a 19-year-old Worksop woman, sustained minor abdominal injuries, cuts and bruises. All three were taken to Rotherham General Hospital.
