Save the Foreshore vow to fight on to stop Premier Inn coming to Skegness
Members urged residents to go along to see what impact the hotel, restaurant and drive-thru might have on the resort.
Russell Sparkes, owner of the Grosvenor Hotel featured in the background of the picture, said: “It’s a montrosity. Have you seen how it towers over the other hotels on the foreshore. Most of them are three storeys with maybe a fourth in the the attick not five like this. We can’t do anything more at the moment until the plans to East Lindsey District Council but the fight will go on.”

Hide AdBob Walker of the Royal Hotel, on South Parade, said: “Another hotel coming into town that’s five storeys, with a 24-hour KFC? Sorry, it’s totally wrong.”
Coun Malcom Gabbitas said: “We have to ask ‘how many hotels will close?’”
