Mayor of Skegness makes history starting second term in office
The move was agreed at last week's zoom meeting of Skegness Town Council after the annual public Mayor making ceremony was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Coun Dannatt commented: "It gives me great pleasure to continue to be the Mayor of Skegness until May 2021 with the support of our local councillors.

"I’ve have been overwhelmed with the support of family, friends and, most of all, the residents of Skegness, who have given me the confidence to go forward.
"The last couple of months of my Mayoral year have been very challenging during the Covid-19, which has attacked our nation and turned the world upside down.
"I assure you we will continue to face the challenges that lie ahead and support our town and residents as a council.

"I will continue to do my best for our town where I have always called my home and always will.
"We will see the sunshine once again hopefully very soon."
