Award honour for Co-op stores
Boston Travel Branch won the gold award for Travel Branch of the Year and Swineshead Pharmacy won the gold award for pharmacies.
The awards were handed out during a week-long virtual celebration which culminated in all 2,900 colleagues working for Lincolnshire Co-op being given an award and a £50 gift to celebrate their achievements over the past year.

Hide AdGold, silver, and bronze Branch of the Year awards – based on factors including positive customer feedback and service delivery – were also given out.
Boston Travel Manager, Zane Ground said: “We all feel so privileged to win this award after the difficult year we’ve had. It really feels like our hard work is being noticed and rewarded.
“Thanks to my colleagues at Boston Travel – without you, we wouldn’t have a branch!”
Gold Pharmacy of the Year was awarded to Swineshead Pharmacy thanks to the team’s support within the community, including fundraising. The branch also scored 100 per cent during a pharmacy assessment, which is based on a number of factors including delivery of services, medicine use reviews, and colleague training.

Hide AdThe silver award was presented to nearby Liquorpond Pharmacy in Boston for exceptional levels of community engagement.
Lincolnshire Co-op also gave out additional special awards during the week for 23 colleagues across the Society who had gone above and beyond during the year.
The Society’s Chief Executive, Ursula Lidbetter said: “Our award-winning Branches of the Year have all excelled in the providing their valued services, despite the challenges of the pandemic. And our individual winners have demonstrated everything that makes us special as an organisation.
“Every colleague has played a part this year, so it’s fantastic that we are able to celebrate our collective achievements, as well as individual accolades.”
