Parents go back to school

The focus was to consider their practical, personal and emotional needs, said an organiser.
Mrs Wilkinson asked parents to participate, putting themselves in the position of parents in 1939.
“The pupils involved were encouraged to invite their parents in to take part in the lesson, watch the presentations and share their children’s learning experience,” said Mrs Wilkinson.
“It proved to be a very moving experience for all of those who took part.”
