The monthly meeting was a tap dancing workshop hosted by Natalie Lunt, from Starstruck School of Dance.
Of the 15 members present, about 10 were fully active in the lesson, learning a one-minute tap routine to a 1940/50s swing number.

Hide AdThere was much laughter from both participants and observers and everyone was grateful to Natalie for her patience.
In addition, members have also been to see The Girls at The Lowry in Manchester.
This musical is based on the story of Calendar Girls, the well-known film and stage play.
Gary Barlow and Tim Firth collaborated to create a very funny but poignant interpretation, with clever song lyrics and memorable tunes.

Hide AdA few tears were shed as the story unfolded, but these were superseded by much mirth as the show drew to a close, ensuring everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable day out.
The WI meets by Spital School in Normanby on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, when new members and visitors will be welcome.
