New measures needed to tackle legal high smuggling at Ranby Prison, says MP
Mr Mann said: “The Government’s announcement is welcome, but I am calling on the Governor to be immediately given the finances he needs to build a secure perimeter and to totally overhaul drug treatment.
“Ranby is currently overwhelmed by legal highs and the changes will only be a success if the drug problem is dealt with.

“I also back the proposals for coherent vocational training for prisoners to be introduced. We have to reduce reoffending and good practical skills ready for the world outside will help bring down numbers.”
“I will continue to challenge the Government if Ranby is not immediately given the tools it needs to combat the drug problems.”
