Chris Lacey, mitigating, said the attack at the address on Walesby Drive, on June 26, was motivated because the victim had recently been driving around the estate ‘in a silly way’.
He said Donner was concerned about the safety of his partner’s six-year-old son.
On the night of the offence, the victim had complained about loud music that was played at a party Donner attended.

“He was released two years ago. He has achieved quite a lot in recent years.”
He said Donner was now a carer for his partner’s son.
A probation report said he needed to work on his anger management and conflict resolution.
Donner claimed he was unfit to do unpaid work because he had struggled when it was imposed in the past.
Magistartes ordered him to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work.
He was ordered to pay £300 compensation and court costs of £85.
