Help save the Mayfair Family Club in Louth
The volunteer-run social club, which is based in Birch Road, helps the disabled community in our area. The not-for-profit organisation is aimed at integrating mentally and physically disabled people into the wider community, and provides an invaluable facility to many local care homes and individuals throughout Lincolnshire.
In an open letter from Steve Mathews, the Chairman of the Trustees, he appeals to local businesses and individuals to do what they can to support the much-loved club.

“Following a recent inspection we have been informed that our fire doors do not meet current regulations, and must be replaced urgently or we will be forced to close.
“As a result, we are working hard to raise £2,500 to cover these costs and we are hoping local businesses may be kind enough to help towards this cost in the form of a cash or prize donation, or by raising funds on our behalf.”
