Harworth: Children hit an African beat with drumming workshops
Children at All Saints Primary School in Harworth got their first taste of playing authentic African rhythms on African D’jembe drums as part of a special D’jembe day.
The instruments will be used by all children in the school starting at Foundation Stage right through to Year Six.
Head teacher, Ms Kerrie Clowes, has invested money in new musical instruments to be used in class, alongside a new music course called Charanga
