Farmers help police corner suspected hare coursers near Timberland
Local farmers assisted in the capture of suspected hare coursers on Timberland Fen on Sunday.
Sleaford Police received a report from a local farmer of hare coursing taking place on land at Timberland Fen.
According to Lincolnshire Police, neighbourhood policing and response officers attended the area, but the men made off on foot.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: “With the help of local farmers they were located and dealt with. Vehicle was seized for no insurance and the males involved received breach of Covid (lockdown travel restrictions) £200 fines.
“Hare coursing is a force and local priority,” they added.
