The original outside space at the school was not designed to inspire today’s children, so Project Playground was born to start to transform it.
The work will see the creation of six play areas, which will include a redevelopment of the sports zone, a relaxing seating area, a climbing zone and an outdoor class area.
Grant funding is being used, and additional fund-raising ideas are being developed to raise enough money to cover the shortfall.
