The Home Secretary has approved the extradition of a Bolsover man accused of copyright infringement.
Theresa May signed the order authorising Richard O’Dwyer’s extradition two months after a district judge said the allegations justified a trial in the US.
The US authorities say the 23-year-old Sheffield student’s TVShack website hosted links to pirated films and television programmes.
A spokesman said Mrs May had ‘carefully considered all relevant matters’ before signing the order Today (Tuesday).
