Best Isle environment schemes sought
Entries are sought for the county’s prestigious Lincolnshire Environmental Awards 2016.
Past winners have included community groups that have created wildlife areas; schools that have built recycled bottle greenhouses and bug palaces; farmers that have restored and planted hedges; and businesses that run offices sustainably from recycling paper to collecting rainwater to wash fleet cars.

Hide AdChairman of the Awards Committee, Roger Pavey said: “The Awards are a great way to showcase achievements, boost morale, reward individuals and teams for their hard work, and inspire and encourage others to take action.”
A winner of the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Award (for members of schools and youth groups aged under 13) will receive a prize of £250, runner-up £150. To enter, write 200 to 300 words about your project and submit it online at www.lincsenvironmentalawards.org.uk
