Alford drink-driver banned for 40 months
Ward appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on April 12, where he pleaded guilty to driving a Suzuki motorcycle in South Street, Alford, while over the limit on February 20.
He had 202 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of urine. The legal limit is 107 milligrams.

Hide AdHe was given a community order which includes a 14-day ‘drink impaired drivers’ programme, and a requirement to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work the next 12 months, which will be supervised by a responsible officer.
Ward was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs, and a further £60 to fund victim services.
He also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid licence, but he was given no separate penalty for this charge,
