TEN YEARS AGO: Hogsthorpe pupils mark World Book Day

World Book day was created by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 1995 to celebrate books and authors and encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading. The first World Book Day in the UK followed in 1997.
