Gainsborough model railway celebrating its 70th anniversary
In 1946 a number of young men met and decided to pool their model railway equipment to make a railway to amuse the children.
Those men, unknowingly, laid the foundations for what is now one of the largest model railways in the United Kingdom.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Gainsborough Model Railway, former members were invited to a reunion to relive their happy days with the group.
