Under 16s take on and beat a top side, Under 15s win again
Trinity started very well and soon found the back of Wrawby’s net, but a dubious offside decision denied the Blues of their early lead.
Gainsborough kept their chins up and kept going, and were soon back in front when the ball came to midfielder Ben Wray who slotted home.

Hide AdWrawby showed great intent to try and get back in to the game, but defensive trio Mark Raisborough James Caldwell and Thomas Clarke once again defended brilliantly throughout the whole game, and snuffed out any chances.
Trinity winger Oliver Hylton added another before the full-time whistle to give the Blues a deserved 2-0 win.
Trinity u15s made it seven league wins out of seven with a 4-1 victory against Bottesford.
Neither team took full control early on, although Bottesford did hit the bar with a terrific shot from distance.

He could and should have doubled the home side’s lead when a cross only needed knocking in but he put it over.
In the second half Bottesford were soon back on level terms when they were awarded a penalty for a handball in the area which was converted.
Both teams pushed forward to in search of goals and it was the hosts who regained their lead when, after a scramble in the area, Tom Williams found space to prod home.

Hide AdTrinity got their third when a Krakow shot was deflected in, then a ball into the area fell to Ewan Mckay to fire home his first of the season.
A full programme last weekend in the Kerry Gainsborough Youth League saw Forrest Rangers secure an 11-1 away win at Marshalls FC in the Ben White Trophy.
A. Bull (3), O. Foster (3), M. Taylor (2), W. Lobley, A. Thorpe and J. Piper were the scorers for Forrest with L. Jarvis replying for Marshalls.
This puts Forrest jointtop of the Ben White Trophy League-based Cup with Misterton after their 2-1 home win over Blyth Bombers.
B. Sowerby got the Misterton goals, B.Moseley replying.

Gainsborough Trinity defeated Blyton 13-2 away, all the Trinity players getting on the scoresheet, while Ben Newton scored both Blyton goals.
In the U8s League Babworth A won 5-1 at Walesby thanks to four goals from R. Baddy and one from O. Swinglehurst, Jack Seals replying.
Babworth B notched 11 goals against Forrest with goals from H. Wood (4), R. Atkinson (2), R. Lindsey (2), F. Stocks and S. James, B. Housham scoring for Forrest.
