The Worksop Town squad have vowed to give everything in a game that could make or break their season.

Tigers host FC United of Manchester, knowing that a win could spark a run of form and take them into the play-offs, but defeat could be very costly.

Manager Simon Clark believes his men will need to win eight of their remaining 11 fixtures to guarantee a play-off spot.

And after watching them surrender a 3-1 lead to another promotion hopeful last Saturday at Witton, he challenged them to respond this weekend at Sandy Lane.

“I sat them down on Monday and reiterated how important it is to learn from Witton, and then I turned it over to them.”

“I wanted them to take a bit of ownership of the situation.”

“They said, as a group, they’ll give absolutely everything they’ve got, every single one of them, and then at the end of 90 minutes we’ll see where we are.”

“They are raring to go.”
