Lincs Cup loss for Trinity kids
Bottesford Town 3
THESE two teams met for the second successive Sunday, this time in the Lincs Cup, and it was the away side who progressed into the next round.
Bottesford started stronger but Trinity struck first when they were awarded a free-kick which Thomas Williams fired into the top corner.

Hide AdAs the half went on Trinity could and should have extended their lead, Adam Bush putting in numerous corners that his team-mates failed to convert.
In the second half it was Bottesford’s turn to pile on the pressure, with Trinity hardly getting out of their own half.
The equaliser came when a cross from the right was knocked in from close range and shortly after Bottesford took the lead when another close range effort found the back of the net.
With time running out Trinity pushed players forward to try and take the game into extra-time but it was Bottesford who got their third when they broke away down the right to score.
