Woolly church creations inspired by Lincolnshire heritage
The exhibition includes a handcrafted version of one church from each district of Lincolnshire and is inspired by the fact that many of the county’s churches were funded by wealthy landowners who made their fortune on the backs of the county’s iconic breed of sheep, the Lincoln Longwool.
The knitted Stow Minster was created by the Knit and Knatter, Crochet and Clatter group, which meets weekly at the Wool Loft in Gainsborough.
