Councillor Stephen Bunney, who chairs the partnership group said the decision had not been an easy one to make.

Councillor Bunney is keen to point out, however, that the ‘Light Up Rasen for Christmas’ Campaign will continue, albeit in a slightly modified form to help bring some ‘cheer, brightness, happiness and positivity to the community’.
He continued:”It is hoped this will also encourage residents to do their seasonal shopping and support local businesses in the town.”
