Ian is now back at home resting and spending time with his family.
But the couple, and Ian’s sister Michelle, are now busy organising a fun day to raise money for those who helped him - the critical care unit and British Heart Foundation.
It will take place in the Canch Park, Memorial Avenue, Worksop, on Saturday 28th September from 12 noon - 5pm.
