Shaun Stafford also made unwanted phone calls and turned up at his victim's home unannounced to make threatening comments, between October 1 and December 15 of this year.
Stafford, 52, of Central Avenue, Kirkby, pleaded guilty to the harassment when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on December 18.

Hide AdHe received a ten week sentence, suspended for 18 months, because of the distress and alarm he caused to the man and his family.
Stafford was ordered to undergo up to 30 rehabilitation days and receive six months of treatment for alcohol dependency.
He was banned from contacting the man, or going to his address for three years.
Magistrates also ordered that he must also pay £128 to the victim and £85 court costs.
