Notts: An afternoon with Beethoven and BBC Young Musician finalist Callum Smart
And taking centre stage for the violin concerto will be soloist Callum Smart.
At the age of 13 Callum was a concerto finalist at the 2010 BBC Young Musicians Competition, an honour that gave him the opportunity to perform with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Hide AdFor the Choral Symphony, which is probably one of the best-known classical works and is used as the anthme of the European Union, the orchestra will be joined by three local choirs and four accomplished soloists.
Thomas D Hopkinson is the bass and being a local lad he returns to his home town for his Nottingham debut.
The concert is on Sunday, October 11 at 3pm.
