Artist showcases experimental art
‘Inklings’ is former King’s School pupil Roman Sander’s first solo exhibition, featuring drawings, photographs and abstract works.
Experimentation plays a big part in his artistry. He has created hypnotic collages by smashing petrol bombs and light bulbs, combining still frames from the resulting explosion.

Hide AdRoman has chosen to use repetition, pattern and colour to create his masterpieces, all completed within the last four years.
He said: “I’m very excited about the opportunity to display my work at the Guildhall.
“I take great pride in the area I grew up in and it’s very important for me to start close to home. I’m at the beginning of my career as an artist and can’t think of anywhere I’d rather exhibit.”
‘Inklings’ is on show in the Newton Room of the Guildhall, in St Peter’s Hill, until March 31.
