‘Outstanding’ Luke Shiels signs Boston United deal

Boston United captain Luke Shiels will remain at Boston United after signing a new deal.

The defender, 31, has been an integral part of Craig Elliott’s squad over the past two seasons.

And he will remain with the club after signing a new deal.

Shiels has made 58 appearances, scoring seven times.

Manager Craig Elliott told bufc.co.uk: “I am delighted to secure Luke's services once again. He has been outstanding on and off the pitch and as the captain, he sets the high standards for the rest of the team.

"He has played a major part in us having a very strong defensive record and I am looking forward to continuing to work with him."
