In 1989, Coningsby Junior School pupils celebrated their last few weeks of term in fine style by collecting first prize in a county road safety Quiz.

The competition, which was held at Richmond Drive County Primary School in Skegness, covered all aspects of road safety.

Teacher Mr Weston praised the efforts of the five-strong team. Pictured, from left, are team members Simon Smith, Lisa Vinters, Kevin Baker, Andrea English and Louisa Harness.
