Man charged after Louth Market Place burglary

A man has been charged with two burglaries and two assaults after being arrested in Louth this weekend.

Shaun Michael Tomlinson, 32, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday morning (December 5) in connection with a burglary at a shop in the Market Place, where three phones and a purse were stolen from the staff area.

Tomlinson was charged with this burglary and a further burglary that occurred in Cleethorpes on November 11. He has also been charged with two counts of assault, one relating to each burglary.

Tomlinson will appear before Lincoln Magistrates this morning (Monday).
