Two firecrews were called to a fire at a property in Newton, near Sleaford on Saturday morning.

The incident was reported just before 10am where a utility room and living room were found to be damaged by smoke and flames.

Crews from Sleaford and Billingborough using breathing apparatus and a hose put out the fire and used fans to ventilate the property.
