COMMUNITY: Mothering Sunday Poetry Competition

Misterton children are invited to write a poem to celebrate Mothering Sunday on the theme of Wise Women. Any style of poem is welcome '“ and the wise women could be mothers, grandmas, aunts, cousins, teachers or someone of local, national or international significance. '¨Children attending Misterton Primary School are involved in the project, which is open to all other children living in the village. '¨The poems will be judged by a local published poet and the winner will be invited to the village Mothering Sunday service to read the poem and pick up a prize. '¨Entries should be left at The Misterton Centre with name, contact phone number and age by Monday, February 29.
