Waterloo House Care Home opened its doors to the public last Friday to take part in National Care Home Day.

The theme for this year’s event was Celebration, to tie in with the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Visitors to Waterloo House could take part in activities with the residents and also try their luck on the raffle to win one of the many prizes.

To keep up with the party mood, there was also a number of specially made individual cakes in red, white and blue, as well as plenty of tea.
