Appeal for information following non-stop collision outside Asda

Police are appealing for information after a 50-year-old man was hurt on a pedestrian crossing outside Asda yesterday (Tuesday).

Lincolnshire Police said the incident happened at about midday, when the man, believed to be local, walked on the pedestrian crossing outside the front of the store and was hit by a silver vehicle car which stopped initially and then drove away.

The man was treated at the scene by first aiders and has injuries described as minor.

The driver of the silver vehicle is described as a white male, elderly, quite tall and stocky.

PC 152 Burden said: “It would really help if the driver of the silver vehicle called into the police station to speak to us.

“I’d urge him to do this”
